Build platform only moves up during printing

Symptoms

During the printing process, the build platform does not move downward, but keeps moving upward.


Possible Causes

  1. During the printing process, the resin spilled on the limit switch, causing the limit switch to be in a triggered state and prohibiting the build platform from moving downwards;
  2. The limit switch is faulty.

Diagnostic Steps

Check whether the surface of the limit switch is contaminated.

  1. Click the GREEN DOT in the upper left corner of the screen five times in a row to enter the factory interface;
  2. Click LIMIT SWITCH. If the number " 0 " is displayed in the yellow box, it means that the limit switch is triggered;

  3. Use a soft damp cloth dipped in alcohol to wipe the surface of the limit switch;

  4. After carefully wiping it clean, restart the printer;
  5. Enter the factory interface again and click LIMIT SWITCH, if the number " 1" is displayed in the box , it means the surface problem has been solved and can be printed for verification.
  6. If the number " 0 " is still displayed , go to step 2.

Confirm whether the limit switch is faulty

  1. Open the air port on the rear cover of the printer and unplug the limit switch cable

  2. Enter the factory interface again, click MOTOR UP and MOTOR DOWN. If the build platform can move normally, it indicates that the limit switch fails and needs to be replaced.
