Part 1: Preparations

1. Please make sure the firmware SYS has been upgraded to the corresponding version. For details, please refer to below chart  "UI & SYS Matching List"
   

The upgrade must be carried out according to the matching list. The UI upgrade can only be performed after firmware upgrade.

1. Make sure the printer is turned off
   
2. To ensure that the UI upgrade file is correct, please contact support@uniz.com Get UI upgrade file
   

The UI file received must be in the form of a compressed package, which must be decompressed before use. If you directly receive the UI file, the file may be damaged.

1. Make sure the UI upgrade file is placed in the root directory of the TF memory card
   

The upgrade file cannot be placed in the folder directory, otherwise the upgrade file will not be recognized.

1. TF memory card format requirements
   
1. The storage space is greater than or equal to 8Gb
   
2. The TF card format is FAT32 and cannot have multiple partitions
   
2. Check current UI & SYS version: please go to How to check firmware (SYS version) and UI version
   

Part 2: How to do it

1. Printer shuts down
   
2. Insert the TF memory card containing the upgrade file into the UI upgrade slot under the touch screen, with the back of the upgrade card facing up. After inserting, you can feel whether the card is correctly inserted into the card slot.
   

1. You can use tweezers to push the end of the card to insert it into the card slot.

3. Connect the printer to power and turn it on. The system will automatically update and the installation process will appear on the screen. After 100 % progress, shut down the printer.
   

1. Attention: Do not shut down or power off during the installation process. The screen will display an inverted image, which is normal.

4. Take out the TF memory card, use tweezers to squeeze the end of the card, and the card slot will pop out the card.
   
5. Turn on the machine and check whether everything is normal. If not, please contact professional technicians at support@uniz.com to solve the problem.
