Maintenance tips—LCD screen replacement precautions

Precautions

LCD Screen Circuit Protector

If the LCD screen circuit protector is damaged, it won't cause negative effects. Contact UNIZ support for the STL file to print a new one.

Removing Old Screen

Start peeling off the old LCD screen from the outward edge using a fingernail, avoiding sharp tools to damage the coolant board etc.

Testing New Screen

Test the new LCD screen before installation.

Screen Installation Direction

Ensure the connector faces downward, with the black side down and the green side up.

Cleaning the Coolant Board

Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the coolant board before installing the new LCD screen.

Removing Protective Film

Remove the black side protective film of the new LCD screen, avoiding touching it to keep it clean.

Alignment

Ensure the LCD screen is aligned within the frame without any bulges. Gently press the edges with your finger to confirm.

LCD Screen Circuit Protector Installation

Don't forget to put the LCD screen circuit protector back.

Removing Green Film and Applying Shading Tape

Remove the green side protective film, clean the screen, and apply the shading tape.

Applying Screen Protector

Install the screen protector, aiming to avoid bubbles.
