Symptoms
After printing, there are no printed objects
adhering to the surface of build platform, and there are cured layers left in
the resin tank.
Possible Causes
- Build platform surface is too smooth
- The exposure time of initial layers is insufficient
- The temperature difference between the resin and the build platform is too big
- Build platform surface is out of flatness
- The connection area between the model and the build platform is too small
- Build platform level is not well calibrated
- The 3rd party resin is not suitable for printing with the printer
Diagnostic
Steps
- Build platform surface is too smooth
Diagnosis: the build platform will have insufficient friction that the cured model can not adhere to the build platform.
Solution: Polish the build platform surface
diagonally with sandpaper of 60 grit.
Reference
video: Build platform sanding - The exposure time of initial layers is insufficient
Diagnosis: The initial layers exposure time is not enough that the first layers are not cured completely.
Solution: Increase the Exposure Time of
initial layers (Burn in) accordingly, you can also contact support@uniz.com for exact recommended
values.

- The excessive temperature difference between the resin and the build platform
Diagnosis: When the preheated resin comes into contact with the cold build platform, the relative expansion of the two materials will be greater, resulting in falling off.
Solution: Maintain the ambient temperature between 20 ℃ and 22℃ with air conditioner or third party air heater. - Build platform surface is out of flatness
Diagnosis: The uneven build platform surface will make the cured model can not be adhered completely to the surface of build platform.
Solution: Replace the build platform with a new one,
you can contact support@uniz.com for the
purchase of spare parts. - The connection area between the model and the build platform is too small
Diagnosis: The small connection area will not be able to provide enough adhesive force.
Solution: Adjust the layout of the model, for models with supports, select Linear or Full base type for a bigger connection area.

- Build platform level is not well calibrated
Diagnosis: If the build platform level is not good, on the upper side, the solidified layers will not be adhered to the build platform.
Solution: Recalibrate the build platform level correctly.

- The 3rd party resin is not suitable for printing with the printer
Diagnosis: The shrinkage properties of this resin may be very strong, making it unsuitable for ultra-high-speed UNIZ printers such as NBEE.
Solution: Print using UNIZ brand or UNIZ officially certified resin. you can see all certified resin here: Open Material List
