Product Introduction

  1. Currently, UNIZ has launched two versions of resin tanks, black and silver, with the same size and NFEP single-layer film, which has the characteristics of high uniformity, strong light transmittance and excellant release force.



Why maintenance is important?

  1. Proper maintenance can allow the service life of the resin tank to be extended, under normal circumstances, it can print approximately 10 liters of model resin or around 30,000 layers.
  2. Foster the habit of maintaining the resin tank, which can even avert the occurrence of serious after-sales incidents like screen cracking. 

Maintenance tools

  1. Soft brush, industry alcohol with a concentration of more than 90%,  paper towels or kitchen paper etc.

Maintenance Methods

  1. Clean 

Keeping the resin tank clean not only ensures successful printing, but also extends the service life of the resin tank and LCD screen.
  1. Before and after each print, use a card or soft squeegee to check the bottom of the resin tank for residue. If so, use the exposure cleaning founction to clean it. In this way, we can prevent the resin tank film from being deformed or even more serious screen cracking incidents due to the extrusion of residues during the printing process.

  2. Use a soft brush and alcohol to clean the residual resin in the resin tank;
    3. Do not use paper towels to wipe the bottom edge of the resin tank vigorously, as this may cause damage to the bottom of the resin tank. 


  3. Use paper towels to wipe away any residual alcohol, Including the inside, edges and bottom of the resin tank. 
    The cleaned resin tank film should be as transparent as glass. Incomplete cleaning can cause printing problems. 

  1. Check 

Please check the resin tank status regularly to ensure the best printing results.
  1. Check whether the resin tank film is deformed. If the situation shown in the following pictures occurs, like punctures, holes, scratches,  wrinkles etc, it needs to be replaced immediately. 




  2. Check the tightness of the resin tank film, as a loose film can have an impact on the release force and cause printing problems. You can gently tap the film, if there is a crisp "bang bang" sound, it indicates that the film is in good condition.

Replacement

When there are phenomena such as deformation, damage, and loose of the resin tank film, please replace it in a timely manner. Currently, in addition to replacing the entire resin tank, UNIZ also offers the following two ways:
  1. Replacement of film with frame, which will be much more easier than replacement of film only；
  2. Replacement of film only, please refer to the help page to replace the film only: How To Change Resin Tank Film.
