The LCD screen illuminates but doesn't display the logo during the LCD TEST

Symptoms

When performing LCD TEST, the screen is fully bright and no UNIZ logo is displayed on the screen.

Possible Causes

  1.  Screen cable is loose;
  2. HDMI cable is loose;
  3. Screen cable failure;
  4. HDMI board failure;
  5. LCD screen failure.

Diagnostic Steps

Check the connection of screen cable

  1. Remove the shading tape and PCB cover.


  2. Check screen cable connection. If loose, reconnect it. 

  3. Remove the front casing of the printer, Check the other end of the screen cable on the HDMI board. If loose, reconnect it. 


Check the status of the HDMI board indicator light

  1. Find the red indicator light on the HDMI board;

  2. If the red light flashes, it means that the HDMI board has signal problem.
    1. Check if the following cables are loose. If loose, reconnect them.
    2. After checking, If the red light still flashes, it means that the HDMI board may be faulty and needs to be replaced with a new one.




  3. If the red light does not light up, it means there is problem with the HDMI power supply.
    1. Check if both ends of power cables is loosing. If loose, reconnect them.
    2. After checking, if the red light still not light up, it means that HDMI board may be faulty and needs to be replaced with a new one.




  4. If the red light is always on ,but when you perform the LCD test, there is no logo. It means that the HDMI board is normal and the screen cable or LCD screen is faulty and needs to be replaced with a new one.
