Description

1. The LCD screen cable refers to the cable that connects the liquid crystal display screen (LCD screen) to the main control board (HDMI board). This cable usually is responsible for transmitting the image signal sent by the main control board to the LCD screen, so that the image can be displayed on the screen.

When needs to replace screen cable

1. When the LCD screen has abnormal phenomena such as flickering or black screen etc, And after investigation, it is not the cause of the LCD screen or HDMI board;
2. The screen wires may contaminated by resin, coolant or other materials.
   

Items to prepare:

Steps

1. Remove the screen protective film;
   
2. Remove the front casing of the printer;
   
①The printer must be disconnected from the power supply before operation; ②There are wires connected to the front casing. When removing it , please carefully place it on the left side of the printer to avoid breaking the wires.

3. Peel off the shading tape and remove the PCB cover, disconnect the screen cable from the screen;
   
   
4. Remove the two magnetic rings and disconnect the screen cable from the HDMI board;
   
   
5. Take a new screen cable, connect it to the HDMI board, and string two magnetic rings together;
   
①The lower end of the screen cable should be completely stuck into the corresponding groove of the HDMI board; ②The magnetic ring has an installation direction, please avoid installing it backwards. (refer to the following pictures)









6. Connect the screen cable to the screen and put back the PCB cover;
   
   
7. Apply the shading tape;
   
8. Apply a new screen protective film;
   
9. Power on the printer, click TOOLS > LCD TEST to validate, If the complete UNIZ icon appears, it indicates that the problem has been resolved.
   
   
   
10. Disconnect the power supply and refer to the help page: Screw Positions to reinstall the front casing.
