Symptoms

  1. The build platform vibrates slightly when it moves to the bottom.
  2. The printing process can start, but the screen will not light up and the printing process cannot be continued.

Possible Causes

  1. The limit switch is faulty and cannot be triggered.
  2. The limit switch is installed in a low position, resulting in late triggering.

Diagnostic Steps

  1. Confirm whether the limit switch is faulty. At this time, the build platform is at the bottom
  1. Restart the printer;
  2. Click TOOL - MOTOR CONTROL, to move the build platform to the top;
      

  3. Prepare a piece of card/paper;
  4. Click the GREEN DOT in the upper left corner of the screen five times in a row to enter the factory interface;
     

  5. If you click LIMIT SWITCH, the number "1" is displayed in the yellow box ; place the card/paper in the middle of the limit switch, then click LIMIT SWITCH, the number " 1 " is still displayed in the yellow box , indicating that the limit switch is faulty and needs to be replaced. Please refer to the link for replacement tutorial: https://support.uniz.com/portal/en/kb/articles/how-to-replace-nbee-limit-switch.
     

  6. If you click LIMIT SWITCH, the number "1" is displayed in the yellow box ; place the card/paper in the middle of the limit switch, then click LIMIT SWITCH, the number " 0 " is displayed in the yellow box, indicating that the limit switch is working normally and without fault, go to step 2.

Adjust the installation position of the limit switch

  1. Open the air port on the rear panel of the printer;


  2. After loosening the two screws fixing the limit switch, move the limit switch upward and tighten the screws again ;
