The build platform stays at the highest position and does not go down during printing

Section 1: Symptoms

  1. The build platform is at a high position and does not move down;
  2. The printing process continues

Section 2: Possible Causes

  1. The limit switch was splashed with resin and was triggered in advance.
  2. limit switch failure.

Section 3: Diagnostic Steps

Check whether the surface of the limit switch is contaminated

  1. Click the GREEN DOT in the upper left corner of the screen five times in a row to enter the factory interface;

  2. Click LIMIT SWITCH. If the number " 0 " is displayed in the yellow box, it means that the limit switch is triggered;

  3. Use a soft damp cloth dipped in alcohol to wipe the surface of the limit switch;

  4. After carefully wiping it clean, restart the printer;
  5. Enter the factory interface again and click LIMIT SWITCH, make sure the number " 1" is displayed in the right yellow box. Otherwise back to the step 2.
  6. Put a papel strip or papel card between the two arms of the limit switch, then click LIMIT SWITCH, if the number changes to " 0 ", it means the limit switch works normally, you can perform a printing test (without build platform and resin tank) for verifying the movement of build platform arm.

Confirm whether the limit switch is faulty

  1. Open the air port on the rear panel of the printer and unplug the limit switch wire.

  2. Enter the factory interface again, click MOTOR UP and MOTOR DOWN. If the build platform can move normally, it indicates that the limit switch fails and needs to be replaced.
