Detailed explanation of the restorative indication parameters

This purpose of this article is to provide the guidance for most of the restorative indication where the proper printing method for the model including way to input support or flat printing.

We will take zDental Model Z Tan resin as an example to explain in detail the models suitable for different parameters and how to process the models.

Material: zDental Model Z Tan
Application: Hollow-Implant
Explaination: Applicable to hollow implant assembly models. To ensure that the model does not deform for a long time, the wall thickness of the hollow model must be greater than or equal to 3mm. The model does not require any support and can be printed flat. Due to the influence of vacuum pressure, 1-2 drainage holes need to be drilled at the bottom of the model.

Material: zDental Model Z Tan
Application: Hollow-removable die
Explaination: Applicable to die models and hollow die assembly models. To ensure that the model does not deform for a long time, the wall thickness of the hollow model must be greater than or equal to 3mm. Supports need to be added to the bottom of the model and the die. If no support is added, the bottom of the model will produce an "elephant foot" phenomenon due to the long exposure time, making it difficult to place the die into the model.

Material: zDental Model Z Tan
Application: Solid
Explaination: Applicable to solid Crown base assembly models. The model needs to be printed flat on a build platform.

Material: zDental Model Z Tan
Application: Solid-Implant_removable die
Explaination: Applicable to solid implant assembly models or solid die assembly models and die.The model needs to be printed flat on a build platform. In order to avoid the influence of elephant feet on the bottom size of the die, the bottom of the die needs to be supported
